GIRLS, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Nashville, Scandal, Awkward, New Girl, Call the Midwife: they’ve all gotten love so far on our newest podcast series. Are you listening? Find all of our episodes so far here, and send us questions and requests!
The Damsels have wrapped up another season of Downton Gabby (catch up on all of the episodes here!), but we love podcasting too much to break for long. And we’re trying something a little different! With so many interesting shows to discuss, we’re branching out.
The new bigger, better “Damsels in Discussion” podcast will roll our Mad Femmes Mad Men content in with conversations about other great shows with fascinating female characters, such as Girls, Nashville, and Game of Thrones. We’ve got a lot to say about a lot of pop culture, and we’d also love to hear your suggestions about what we should cover.
Stayed tuned for our first “Damsels in Discussion” episode soon, and thanks for listening!
One month from today, the new season of Downton Abbey will finally premiere in the United States. Which means that one month and a day or two from today, Downton Gabby is back, as well! Join us again to analyze all the developments of the season, and all the outfits being worn at the time. We can’t wait!
The long, horrible wait without new podcasts from the Damsels is over! In preparation for this Sunday’s premiere of Mad Men (THIS SUNDAY!), our first episode of Mad Femmes is up. We go back over some of the highlights from season four, pine for Faye, begrudgingly wonder if Megan isn’t really that bad, scold Don and Roger, ponder Peggy’s and Sally’s potential hippie futures, take bets on the sex of Joan’s baby, and much more.
Stay with us for weekly analysis of the new season, which starts THIS SUNDAY!
The final episode of Downton Gabby, discussing the wonderful Christmas special, is online now. It’s our funniest yet, if we do say so ourselves—packed with season two reflections and season three hopes and predictions for all of our beloved Downton Abbey characters. Join us as we painfully accept the walk-to-Mordor-esque horrific wait ahead for new drama and dresses.
You can also access all Downton Gabby episodes through iTunes.
Our very first Damsels in Discussion project, the Downton Gabby podcast, must come to a sad hiatus. We can’t talk about a show that isn’t giving us new episodes! (Well we could…maybe we could start over and go through every dress, one by one?) Before our final podcast of the season two run is posted, catch up on all the fun. Nothing could be more convenient than this list of our first seven episodes. Enjoy. (Or enjoy again!) We’re as proud of this project as Sybil is of her harem pants.
